Eva Mendes is proving she has zero interest in minimalist packing culture. The 52-year-old retired actress and mom of two shared a playful new social media video showing off her travel-day essentials, and followers immediately became distracted by one unexpected accessory hanging from one of her handbags.
Dressed in a bright yellow Stella McCartney coat paired with white high-heeled boots, Mendes admitted to her combined 10.2 million Instagram and TikTok followers that traveling light simply is not part of her lifestyle.
“The star said that she ‘always’ carries at least two bags with her at all times,” Mendes explained in the clip. “Today’s a special day, so I have three bags and a suitcase today. I don’t understand the one-bag theory.”
As she rummaged through two oversized handbags, eagle-eyed fans quickly noticed what appeared to be a cream-colored bra wrapped around one purse handle. “Yes two bags. At all times. and the bra wrapped around the purse handle is a special touch.. lol,” one fan joked.
Another follower added: “Is there a Bra hanging from a bag? I’m not the only one! Thax Eva.”

The former actress also used the clip to praise her glam team, giving Yvonne Brown credit for her “iconic blowout” and complimenting make-up artist Maria Vargas for the way she “does my face.”

When asked about their date-night routine, the Miami-born star teased: “All the unmentionables. I don’t know what else to say!”
She continued: “We like movies and we like going to the movies so we try to keep that alive. People are usually cool. If you want attention, you go to certain places, and if you don’t, you know where to go. We do the latter.”
