And no, we’re not suggesting that you cover every available surface in pumpkins, but there are some simple hacks you can do to make your home feel instantly cosier.

We encourage you to think of your home like you would your wardrobe – it deserves an update for the colder climate too. Add thick blankets, change your cushion covers and embrace fabrics such as velvet and linen.
Next, think about colour. No one should feel like they need to decorate every 4 months, but embrace accessories in seasonally appropriate shades that can be switched out with ease. If you’re a chocolate brown lover, like Karen, now’s the time to lean in.
H! Fashion’s Lauren also has a great tip – invest in some dried flowers in different shades. For spring/summer opt for pink, lavender and cream – then pop into your attic when the temperature drops and replace with oranges, reds and browns. A nifty trick that won’t break the bank – and will last for years.
