Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos can’t seem to go more than a few days without sharing a piece of NSFW information, but fans are loving it. Their kids, however, may not appreciate knowing their mom seems to like her hair pulled.

Kelly and Mark love sharing funny stories

The couple, who recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary, added another chapter to their long-running catalog of oversharing this week when Ripa revealed the hilariously inappropriate anniversary card she once gave her husband.

This week, during an episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, the married co-hosts were discussing Tyrannosaurus rex dinosaurs. Ripa joked that she relates to the prehistoric creatures because she has “short arms for my body size,” before explaining, “They approached everything head first.” Consuelos immediately quipped back, “It’s exactly what you did with me.”

All the dinosaur talk reminded Ripa of what she still considers one of the greatest anniversary cards she has ever purchased. While visiting Palm Springs, she came across a card featuring two T. rexes making prehistoric love and knew it belonged in her marriage.

Ripa admitted she wasn’t even sure she should describe the card on daytime television before deciding to give viewers the cleaned-up version.

“For our anniversary, I found an anniversary card where two T. rexes are engaged in loving one another very much,” she explained. “And the female T. rex says, ‘Pull my hair.’ And the male T. rex says, ‘I’m trying.’ Best card.”

Ripa was still laughing about it years later. “It’s an adorable card,” she insisted before warning viewers that it wasn’t exactly family-friendly. “You have to see it, but only certain people can see it. You have to be 21 and older to see it.”

Ripa and Consuelos have spent decades giving the public front-row seats to their marriage, regularly sharing stories that range from sweet to completely unhinged. Like when she admitted to having “hours” of videos of turtles fornicating on her phone.

Over the years, they’ve talked openly about everything from their chemistry and vacation mishaps to accidentally embarrassing their children with some of their more candid conversations.

But while they’ve kept their bond rock-solid, their kids aren’t always thrilled about their parents’ public displays of affection. The parents have joked that their kids are often so embarrassed by their “cringe-worthy” moments.

Their energy is one of the reasons viewers love them so much is because they still seem to genuinely flirt with each other after three decades together.

The couple’s love story goes way back to 1995 when they first met on the set of All My Children. For Ripa, none of this would be possible without the show. “All My Children is responsible for my entire life. I don’t say that lightly. I met my husband on All My Children. I had my children on All My Children,” Ripa said in 2021.

Whether they’re teasing each other on live television or turning a dinosaur conversation into an anniversary-card confession, they somehow make married life look equal parts romantic and ridiculous.
