Pamela Anderson welcomed the final year of her 50s with a birthday swim in the South of France. The Baywatch icon celebrated her 59th birthday last week, on Wednesday, July 1, by sharing a video of herself strolling into the sea in Saint-Tropez wearing a butter yellow strapless one-piece swimsuit. She captioned the post, “Thank you for the beautiful birthday wishes…May all your dreams come true today too. #Love, P.”
In the clip, Anderson walks barefoot toward the water wearing a white bathrobe for what she called “a birthday swim.” Carrying her white sandals in one hand and shielding her eyes with white-framed sunglasses, she slips off the robe before heading into the sea. Her strapless swimsuit showed off her sun-kissed look, and later in the video she gave fans a closer look at the design while wearing her signature platinum blonde hair in a classic ’90s-inspired updo.
Birthday in Saint-Tropez
The birthday post was just one of several snapshots from Anderson’s relaxing European vacation. In a separate Instagram photo carousel, she shared more scenes from her time in Saint-Tropez, beginning with a photo of herself balancing on a stone ledge overlooking one of the town’s picturesque streets.
The makeup-free actress wore a white bandana over her platinum blonde hair, a white T-shirt dress with a sheer skirt, and white sneakers while carrying a woven picnic basket, embracing the understated style that has become her signature in recent years.
Preparing for Dylan’s wedding
Anderson’s trip comes as she prepares to celebrate another family milestone. The actress has been spending time in Saint-Tropez ahead of her younger son Dylan‘s upcoming wedding to architectural designer Paula Bruss. Dylan, 28, is Anderson’s youngest son with ex-husband Tommy Lee. The former couple also share their older son, Brandon, 29.
Why she said no to Baywatch
Although Anderson became one of television’s defining stars of the 1990s as C.J. Parker on Baywatch, she’s reportedly not interested in revisiting that chapter of her career. According to a source close to the production, she declined an invitation to appear in Fox’s reboot of the iconic lifeguard drama.
The insider said, “Pamela was approached, and she passed. She’s done with that chapter. She’s focused on where she’s going, not where she’s been. That era doesn’t define her anymore.”
