Kevin Bacon revealed an unexpected new look in a hilarious way over social media.
The actor shared a reel in which he rocked a mustache on half his face, and no mustache on the other half, as he performed a quirky sketch while portraying two people.
Kevin turned to his side profile as he imitated one person saying: “Hey man, that’s some mustache you got.”
He switched sides and replied: “Gee, thanks,” as the other person inquired: “Hey, how long did it take you to grow that?”
The performer responded: “I don’t know really. I think I lost track,” as the other person said: “Well, it looks great.”
Kevin replied: “Really? I think it makes me look like an old cowboy,” to which the other person said: “What’s wrong with old cowboys?”
Kevin concluded: “Yeah, fair point,” and then broke the fourth wall and showed off both looks simultaneously while smiling with his pearly whites.
The movie star captioned the video: “Mustache, no mustache, or half and half?”
His fans loved the charismatic sketch and flocked to the comments, as some stated their opinions, while others shared their own jokes
One person wrote: “Nothing wrong with old Cowboys at all.” Another fan added: “Old cowboys are hot.”
A third follower joked: “You could be an actor,” while another commented: “You could be twins.”
One fan wrote: “Ask your wife…remember…she’s always right.” Another commenter continued: “Somebody go tell Kyra to get her man under control.”
Kevin’s on-screen mustache looks
Kevin has been sporting a thick mustache for some time now, but in 2015 when he starred in the film Cop Car, he was bare-faced and he needed some quick help with his look by using fake hair.
He joked on the Today show: “This is all smoke and mirrors. We can’t divulge any secrets. Yes, I had to walk around in my off hours [with it], and yes, it is itchy. Those are two questions I will answer.”
The actor confessed: “I can grow a mustache, and I can grow whatever this is [on my chin]. I end up looking like Shaggy from Scooby-Doo. But I can’t actually grow anything on the side of my face. So when I’ve had sideburns in the past, they’ve been glue-ons.”
The entertainer joked: “It’s a little frustrating as an actor, because you want to be able to change your look in terms of facial hair. But I always say to myself, ‘Listen, I’m not going to complain, ’cause I still have the hair on top.'”
Kevin’s new looks
Kevin has not only played around with his mustache over time, but he’s also undergone dramatic transformations for a unique reason.
The star hilariously sought out professional help to enjoy life as a “regular” person, while going to The Grove mall in LA.
He recalled: “I’m not complaining, but I have a face that’s pretty recognizable. Putting my hat and glasses on is only going to work to a certain extent. I went to a special effects makeup artist, had consultations, and asked him to make me a prosthetic disguise,” per Vanity Fair.
Kevin had mixed reviews on his experience, adding: “Nobody recognized me. People were kind of pushing past me, not being nice. Nobody said, ‘I love you.’ I had to wait in line to, I don’t know, buy a coffee or whatever. I was like, ‘This sucks. I want to go back to being famous.'”
