Khloé Kardashian hid in a bathroom after accidentally taking drugs at Coachella

The Kardashian/Jenner clan has become Coachella regulars, but there’s one sister we haven’t seen there in years – Khloé Kardashian. On her recent podcast, the reality star opened up about why she never went back to the famous festival after one chaotic experience left her stuck in the bathroom for hours while accidentally on drugs.  

During an “ask me anything” segment on her Khloe in Wonderland podcast, the business owner revealed she’s only attended the festival once. “I have gone to Coachella. I’ve gone once,” Khloé shared, estimating the trip happened around 2016. From past photos, it was 2015. But instead of becoming a yearly tradition, the experience completely turned her off from going back.

According to Khloé, things spiraled after she drank what she thought was just juice at a party. Looking back, she believes everyone around her knew exactly what was in it, except her. “I don’t think anyone drugged me,” she explained. “I just think I was the dumb one and didn’t realize that everyone was on drugs.”

She recalled suddenly feeling “really crazy” and not understanding what was happening. “No one wants to feel like that and not know why they’re like that,” she said, describing how scared and overwhelmed she became once the mystery drugs started kicking in.

The situation got so intense that Khloé ended up hiding in a bathroom for hours while people tried to get her to come out. “I remember locking myself in a bathroom for hours,” she said. “I got scared. I was in my head. I was so scared.”

Eventually, she realized after the fact that she had accidentally taken drugs, and it scarred her. “My experience was not good,” she admitted. Koko was pictured at the Regroupd Retreat Pool Party in 2015, but it’s unclear which party she was off her rocker at.

Koko did return in 2019 to watch Kanye West’s Sunday service, but it’s probably afe to say she wasn’t on any drugs for that.

But that wasn’t the only chaotic story she shared. Koko also reflected on her 2007 DUI arrest. “I had no idea that arrest would lead to me going to jail,” she said, explaining that because she was arrested on a weekend, she had to stay in custody until Monday.

She was in a holding cell with 23 other women. “They were all prostitutes besides me,” she said, before joking that she probably didn’t help her case because she was wearing a very short dress. 

One detail she remembers was that she never used the bathroom the entire time. In jail, the toilets are out in the open. “That still fascinates me till this day,” she said.

Khloé later had to turn herself in to serve jail time after being sentenced to 30 days, but she didn’t finish the whole sentence. She said that the experience was even scarier than the initial arrest because it finally hit her that she was actually going to jail.

Still, in true Kardashian fashion, there was glam involved. Khloé joked that her friend Malika Haqq did her hair before her now-infamous mugshot. “Malika did do my hair,” she said. “She did a good job.”
