Lizzo has always been a confident woman, but now she is stepping into her next era, and she’s making sure everyone sees it. The 37-year-old singer took to Instagram to share a series of striking bikini photos showing her ongoing wellness transformation.
The star surprised her followers by sharing a photo of herself wearing a sleek, monogrammed Gucci two-piece. The “Juice” hitmaker delivered the body-positive moment alongside the caption: “Yall gettin the whole stomach out all summer.”
In another standout snap, Lizzo can be seen posing in front of a floor-length mirror, standing on a plush black rug with a bathtub behind her. Another shot shows her near a swimming pool, while pairing her designer bikini with black sunglasses.
Lizzo’s Wellness Transformation Journey
For months, Lizzo has been sharing glimpses of her wellness journey. Speaking on the “Just Trish” podcast in June 2025, she revealed whether she was using any weight loss medication. “It’s just the science for me—calories in versus calories out,” she explained. “Ozempic works because you eat less food. If you can just do that on your own, mind over matter, it’s the same.”
The singer admitted to briefly trying the GLP-1 drug; however, she decided to continue her weight loss process with discipline rather than shortcuts.
Another major turning point came when Lizzo reassessed her vegan lifestyle. While it looked and sounded like a healthy choice, she revealed it wasn’t working. “When I was vegan, I was eating a lot of fake meats, bread, rice—I was taking in 3,000 to 5,000 calories a day just trying to stay full,” she shared.
She said that alone led her to pivot toward a high-protein, low-carb diet, which helped her to understand that weight loss is not about restriction but about understanding what her body actually needed. Lizzo also revealed that she made adjustments in the ways she was eating by cutting out sugary drinks, limiting fast snacks, and focusing heavily on hydration.
Fitness and Balance
While everyone knows that a balanced diet is the most important part of a weight loss process, the fitness aspect is also important. Lizzo’s routine includes training three times a week and keeps her workouts varied to stay engaged.
One week she can be doing cardio sessions, pickleball games, and hiking, and another time she could be dancing. Beyond the gym, she is incorporating lymphatic massages and other holistic treatments.
“I’m so happy and proud of what I’ve done, and no one can take that away from me,” she told fans.
