Spokespeople for the Andic family have defended the innocence of Jonathan Andic and demanded that the principle of the presumption of innocence be respected. At the same time, the Andic family stated that no legitimate incriminating evidence exists or will be found against him. According to these authorized spokespeople, their conviction regarding his innocence is absolute, and they expressed certainty that the ongoing legal proceedings will prove it.
With this statement, those close to Jonathan Andic have broken their silence following his arrest earlier this morning. Isak Andic‘s son was arrested at his home and taken to the Martorell courts to testify before the judge as an official suspect under investigation for the tragic death of the Mango founder.
Early in the day, immediately after news of the arrest broke, the family spoke out through authorized spokespeople with these words:
“Jonathan Andic is testifying right now within the framework of the investigation into the accident on December 14, 2024. At this moment, we cannot add much more because the case is under a court-ordered seal. There has been and will continue to be maximum cooperation throughout these proceedings.”

Back in October 2025, ten months after the terrible event, they expressed their intention to maintain their privacy through another statement, while also showing solidarity with the first-born son of the Turkish-born businessman:“The Andic family has not made, and will not make, any comments throughout all these months regarding the death of Isak Andic.
However, they wish to show their respect for the legal proceedings that have been carried out in this regard and will continue to cooperate, as they have until now, with the competent authorities. Furthermore, they trust that this process will conclude as soon as possible and that Jonathan Andic’s innocence will be proven.”
