Meet Rafael Olarra — the name everyone’s Googling alongside Pedro Pascal

Pedro Pascal is one of Hollywood’s busiest actors. Starring in some of the biggest films and TV shows in recent memory, he’s become an ubiquitous figure, with many having an interest in his personal life. And while Pascal is friendly and open, he values his privacy, not sharing many details about his personal life. Over the past year, he’s been photographed with Rafael Olarra, sparking much discussion on the nature of their relationship. Here’s what we know about him. 

He’s an art director

Olarra is 47 years old and is an Argentine art director, working at the Faena Hotel since 2015. According to his website, he also does freelance work for fashion campaigns, editorials, advertising, exhibitions, TV, and the like.

Olarra previously dated Luke Evans

Olarra was previously in a relationship with the actor Luke Evans. The two dated between the years 2020 and 2021, with them confirming their relationship on an Instagram post. “He loves my welsh humour….no, honestly!! he does!!” Evans captioned a clip, showing the two laughing together in Hawaii.

They supposedly went to the Oscars together

Olarra and Pascal rumoredly attended the Oscars together. According to the photo agency Grosby Group, the two were seen at the event, even though they didn’t walk the red carpet together. Pascal served an important role that night, introducing one of the awards. He wore an elegant yet modern outfit made up of a Chanel white button-up shirt with a flower detail on the chest, alongside high-waisted black pants. He completed the look with patent leather shoes, some silver-framed glasses, and a clean-shaven look, prompting surprise from viewers and photographers.

Over the past year, the two have been photographed in New York and Los Angeles, enjoying their time together and looking comfortable with each other.

As reported by Parade, they were recently photographed in Mexico, where Pascal is shooting his film “De Noche.” On his Instagram, Olarra has shared numerous photos of his time in Mexico, enjoying the city. While Pascal is not featured in his posts, he left a comment in one of them. “Viva,” he wrote, adding a Mexican flag.
