Timothy Olyphant tied the knot with his college sweetheart, Alexis Knief in 1991, and the two have been married for over 35 years.
The duo welcomed three children into the world together, including Grace, born in 1999, Henry, born in 2001, and Vivian, born in 2003.
The actor, who will show off his acting chops in a new drama alongside Jennifer Garner, called The Five-Star Weekend on July 9, stays busy with both his thriving career and fatherhood, therefore, we’ve delved into his family ties below.
The duo romantically met while they both attended the University of Southern California.
Alexis became a proud stay-at-home mom to their children and she has supported his career for decades.
Timothy expressed that although the couple may make marriage look effortless, a lot of effort goes into their bond.
He revealed to Women’s Health Magazine: “You have to be with the right person, and you both have to be willing to do the work, day in and day out, to make it happen.”
Aside from Timothy’s acting roles, he also takes his role as a father very seriously, and it doesn’t come without difficulty.
The star got candid with the outlet about the struggles that he faces pertaining to parenthood.
He revealed: “[Fatherhood] [expletive] exhausts you! That’s how it changes you! My buddy on the show is expecting a baby. I said, ‘Imagine I call you at midnight, and I hang up without saying anything. Then I call you two hours later, and I hang up again. This continues. Oh, and by the way, in between my calls, you’re wondering if I’m dead.’ That’s what it’s like.”
Grace graduated from Marymount High School in Los Angeles. She went on to attend California Polytechnic State University, during which she played collegiate tennis, and was a member of the National Honors Society.
She also served as an intern for Savage X Fenty’s Creative Studio and has worked as a stylist for celebrities, including her dad during Tribeca Festival.
Vivian is also an actor just like her father. She attended William Esper Studio, where he studied acting.
She also studied songwriting as a student at Berklee College of Music.
Vivian portrayed the character of Will Givens in her first project called Justified: City Primeval.
In 2023, she worked alongside her dad in the series and gushed to /Film: “I was really excited to work with my dad. Just preparing for the audition was a joy. Even if I hadn’t gotten the part, I would have been happy.”
