Melania Trump‘s former aide wants to move on. Stephanie Winston Wokoff was a friend and one of Melania’s aides in the White House. She ultimately left the White House, publishing a book about the fallout of her relationship with Melania. She is now embracing a new stage in her life.
Wolkoff revealed that she’s now making plans to produce TV shows. “Melania was one chapter of my life. It’s not my story,” said Wolkoff to Page Six.
Over the past months, Wolkoff has produced various TV shows, including “Gunslingers” and “The Trouble with Billy,” two fictional series. The latter stars William McNamara, who has the personal experience of losing his career and personal life at the height of his fame due to alcohol and drug abuse.
“I know something about rebuilding life after your worst chapter, and I know no one should be defined by a single moment,” said Wolkoff.

Wolkoff published the memoir “Melania & Me” in 2020, discussing their friendship, which began in 2003 when Wolkoff was a writer at Vogue. Over the years, the friendship deteriorated, with Wolkoff claiming that she was scapegoated for financial controversies following Trump’s 2017 presidential inauguration.
In 2024, Wolkoff spoke about Trump and Biden’s debate ahead of that year’s presidential elections, claiming that Biden’s poor performance wasn’t helped by the lighting on set. “NO ONE HAD TO SAY A WORD,” wrote Wolkoff on X. “CNN’s carefully considered FRAMING & LIGHTING design effectively conveyed the intended perceptions of fragility vs. dominance in visual composition. Biden was filmed in profile, looking pale as a ghost.”
© Andrew HarnikThe post prompted a response from Donald Trump, who didn’t hold back on his criticism. “Wolkoff, a total airhead who was dumped by Melania years ago for being a publicity-seeking airhead who added nothing, had a love affair with the Fake News, and was a boring, small-time loser, now gets into the news again by blaming Crooked Joe Biden’s absolutely dismal debate performance on “lighting” (that’s a new one!) and the angle of the podium, which he chose,” he wrote.
“No, Biden, the worst President in the history of our Country, lost because I beat him, he is not good on the big stage, and he CHOKED!!! Stephanie should start getting her sad life together, perhaps by working for Crooked Joe after he leaves the White House and our Country begins to recover from the tremendous damage he has caused!”
