Melissa Joan Hart has taken her family of five to “paradise,” sharing a series of pictures of her sons and husband Mark – and fans cannot believe how grown up her teen sons are now.
The 50-year-old actress shot to fame in the 1990s in Clarissa Explains It All, and Sabrina The Teenage Witch, but is now mom to Mason, 20, who graduated in May 2024 and is studying at aeronautics school to become a pilot, Braydon, 18, who recently graduated from high school, and 13-year-old Tucker.
The pictures were taken in Lake Tahoe, California, a favorite of the family’s, with Melissa and her family enjoying a day on the lake, and also posing for pictures on the balcony of their home, with the sunset behind them.
“WHEN DID TUCKER SHOOT UP TO MARK’S HEIGHT??!” commented one follower on a picture of Tucker and Mark both standing on the back of a boat, posing with their biceps flexed.
Another couldn’t get over how much Mason was “the spitting image of his father”.
“We always spend Christmas in Lake Tahoe, our favorite place,” Melissa told HELLO! in 2025; Lake Tahoe straddles the border of California and Nevada.
“We like to be in the snow and in the mountains. It’s our little sanctuary – and that’s the only home my boys have known their whole lives. My husband and I bought that house when we first got engaged, and it’s the only one that’s stuck with us all these years. It’s our safe place, and our happy place”.
Mark quit his career and became a stay-at-home dad in 2008 when their second son was born; Melissa and Mark at the Kentucky Derby in 2002, and he was previously a singer-songwriter, writing Grammy-nominated songs for artists as well as the lead guitarist for rock band Course of Nature.
The pair, who tied the knot in 2003, have raised their children in Nashville, Tennesse, and are regulars at local volunteering opportunities.
“Every chance I get, I take these boys volunteering,” Melissa told HELLO!
“From the time they were little we were serving at soup kitchens, or doing coat drives and the angel tree at church. I was in charge of our football team’s outreach initiative for the last three years, and we would take these football players to serve the homeless, to pack food boxes for Middle Tennessee, or to serve at The Store, Brad Paisley and Kim Paisley’s grocery store in Nashville.”
