Mick Jagger‘s fiancée Melanie Hamrick is celebrating a special occasion. The writer, dancer, and choreographer shared a sweet post celebrating Jagger’s 83rd birthday, sharing a look at their relationship and dynamic.
The post, shared on Instagram, was made up of numerous photos showing Jagger and Hamrick through the years. “Happy Birthday my love !!!” she captioned the post.

The photos show Jagger and Hamrick alongside their son, Deveraux, who looks strikingly like his dad. Photos appear to have been taken on vacation, showing the three in front of a pyramid. More images show Jagger driving, their dog, him drinking a coconut from a beachy and sunny destination, and more.
Hamrick also shared photos of the two, showing their dynamic, where they’re seen laughing together or taking photos on the red carpet.

Hamrick, who is 37, shares a 44-year-old age gap with Jagger. It’s a topic that she’s addressed humorously on past occasions. “He’s younger than me,” Hamrick said to Page Six. “He’s amazing, really is.”
In an interview with The Times, Hamrick said that she doesn’t think about their age difference. “Everyone’s going to have their opinion,” she said. “If you think about others’ opinions, no matter where you are in life, you’re going to have a problem and you’re going to analyse it.”
“I put the blinders on. Am I happy? Yes. Are the people in my life happy? Yes. Am I hurting anyone? No. OK, they can mind their own business.”
Hamrick has also talked about her son, who has inherited his father’s memorable dance moves, with her often sharing videos of him on social media.

She’s also discussed her relationship with Jagger and their engagement. “We’ve been engaged two or three years,” she told Paris Match. “Maybe one day we’ll marry, maybe not. We are so happy in our current life that I would be too afraid to change anything.”
When it comes to keeping their relationship fresh and functional, she reveals that the two play key figures in the other’s lives. “We try to support each other, be there for each other, and make sure everyone is happy. That’s all that matters to me and all I strive for.”
