A Rod’s still making triple plays!
A Page Six spy says that Corner Store was filled with stars the other night with Hollywood A-listers, star journalists and political machers packing the Soho hot spot.
But our source said it was Alex Rodriguez who — true to form — made the highlight-reel moves of the night.
We’re told the Yankee great was overheard charming not one woman but an entire group of three friends, repeatedly quizzing them on their plans for the rest of the night, and asking them to give their numbers to his assistant.
(The aide, it seems, was along for the night out with the slugger, along with his nephew).
“He was really ready to party!” said our spy, who marveled at the 14-time All Star’s charisma — and chutzpah.
A rep for Rodriguez denied to Page Six that he asked for the women’s numbers, and said he was spending the evening with his nephew and two members of his business operation.
The former third basemen — who’s now a Fox Sports analyst and co-owner of the Minnesota Timberwolves — had been dating fitness influencer Jaclyn Cordeiro for several years.
However, as we were preparing to publish this story, TMZ posted a conveniently timed article revealing that the World Series champ and Cordeiro broke up two months ago.
“We remain supportive of one another, and there is absolutely no animosity, drama, or negative story here,” she told the outlet.
A Rod and the personal trainer were first linked in 2022, when Page Six reported the pair were “enjoying spending time” together.
Rodriguez has, of course, been linked to a slew of stars including Madonna, Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez — one of whom happened to be at Corner Store on the night in question, we’re told.
He was married to Cynthia Rodriguez, with whom he shares two children, from 2002 until 2008.
A rep for Rodriguez didn’t comment.
