Oriana Sabatini and Paulo Dybala just opened a joyous new chapter in their lives with the arrival of their baby daughter, Gia. The couple, who married in July 2024, confirmed the news on social media after the little girl was born at the Gemelli Hospital in Rome, Italy. Both mother and baby are reported to be healthy and doing well, sparking celebrations from fans and family alike.

In a joint Instagram post, the proud parents shared the very first photo of Gia. The image shows the newborn’s tiny form cradled gently by the hands of her parents. In his caption, Dybala wrote with playful affection, “A round of applause for mommy and daddy 🧸💕,” borrowing lyrics from Bad Bunny’s song La Mudanza.

Catherine Fulop, Oriana’s mother and a well-known figure in Argentine entertainment, responded to the sweet moment with a heartfelt reaction: “God bless you.” Her comment echoed the emotional resonance of the day, underscoring how meaningful this arrival is for the wider family as well.

Gia’s birth came slightly ahead of her estimated due date, adding to the excitement of the occasion. Argentine media noted that her arrival occurred several days before the expected March 11 date, and that she entered the world weighing a healthy three kilograms in a smooth birth.

Close family traveled from Argentina to Italy in the final weeks of Oriana’s pregnancy. Catherine Fulop and Oriana’s father, Ova Sabatini, made the journey to be present for this milestone. Gia not only marks a new generation for the couple but also becomes the first granddaughter for Catherine and Ova — a title the grandparents-to-be have been celebrating for weeks.

In the days before the birth, Fulop was publicly capturing moments from Rome as the family awaited the big day. She shared playful posts highlighting precious moments, writing, “Grandma mode activated in Italy 🇮🇹✨ Walks, soccer, laughs, and lots of beautiful baby bump… because soon the boss of this tour arrives: my granddaughter.”

The choice to have Gia in Italy was intentional. In interviews earlier in the pregnancy, Oriana explained that her primary reason for remaining in Rome rather than returning to Argentina was to ensure that Dybala, who plays professional soccer there, could be fully present for the birth. She emphasized her wish for a natural birth when possible and the importance of having her husband by her side.

Alongside the joy, there were personal concerns. Catherine Fulop had openly shared that while she was in Rome supporting Oriana, her  90-year-old mother in Venezuela was dealing with health complications. Fulop’s reflections in her Instagram stories painted a picture of a grandmother balancing the happiness of a new life with genuine concern for her own mother’s well-being.

Now, with Gia here and both parents and baby reported in good health, the Sabatini-Dybala family is entering a new and beloved phase. Fans across Argentina and Italy have already flooded social platforms with congratulations, and the couple’s own post serves as a tender snapshot of beginnings — intimate, emotional, and shared with the world.
