Pamela Anderson has opened up with striking honesty about her evolving views on love, revealing she has stepped away from relationships to focus on herself, and her work.
Speaking candidly at the Wanderlust True North event in Melbourne, Australia on Friday night, the Baywatch icon admitted that, for the first time in her life, she is embracing being alone.
“This is the only time I’ve ever been alone,” she told the audience. “I would go from one (relationship) to another to another and another. That was part of my problem.”
Now, the 58-year-old is entering what she describes as a new chapter, one defined not by romance, but by self-connection.
“But this is my time,” she said firmly. “My relationship is to my work and to myself. And I don’t know what the future holds.”
That’s not to say Pamela has entirely closed the door on love. With a laugh, she hinted that sparks could still fly, particularly on set.
© WireImage“I reserve the right to fall in love with my co-stars,” she said. “And then it will be over and I’ll be heartbroken, but I’ll get through it, and there’ll be another movie.”
Her reflections offer a glimpse into a woman who has loved deeply and unapologetically. “I just lay my heart out,” she admitted. “I really fall in love. There’s a line you don’t cross … but I get my little doses of flirtations for, you know, film purposes. It keeps me alive.”
Pamela’s romantic history has long been in the spotlight. She has been married five times, including to Tommy Lee, with whom she shares sons Brandon and Dylan, and later to Kid Rock. More recently, she was linked to Liam Neeson following their work together on The Naked Gun in 2025.

“I don’t think I’ve gotten over certain things,” she said. “I’m an old-fashioned girl, a small town girl. I wanted my relationship, my marriage to work. It really was a big blow when all that fell apart.”

“It’s a powerful gift,” she explained. “You’re not going to be in their day-to-day life. But I genuinely wish them, and also love them in a different way. Sex isn’t the only way to love someone.”l
