Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet have more than just their parents’ return to look forward to when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wrap up their whirlwind Australia tour on Friday, April 17.

The Duke of Sussex was gifted two adorable child-sized jerseys to take home to his kids while attending a Movember event at Whitten Oval in Melbourne.

The event, which took place at the headquarters of Australian Rules football team the Western Bulldogs, saw Prince Harry discuss the impact of fatherhood on mental health and the importance of seeking help.

He was presented with the royal blue jerseys ahead of the day’s Q&A session, and was clearly delighted when he saw Archie and Lilibet’s names emblazoned on the back in white lettering.

“You want to be the best version of yourself for your kids,” the father of two shared with the audience. “If I was stressed, the moment I held Archie…he would notice it quicker than I could.”

“It’s the most important and transformational role a guy can ever move into,” he continued. “That role…gives you purpose.” Harry also revealed that he kept a diary throughout Meghan’s pregnancy with Archie to document the journey. “Those days, weeks, after birth are a real struggle,” he admitted.

“You’re not alone. For me, [going to therapy] was a sign of strength, not weakness. Don’t ever let yourself get to the point where you are no use to anybody.” The British royal added that being a parent in the age of social media was harder than ever, as “the world around us has changed massively”.

Harry and Meghan’s four-day trip Down Under holds special significance for the couple, as their last visit to the country was in 2018, just after they announced they were expecting their baby boy.

They went on to welcome Archie in May 2019, followed by Lilibet in June 2021. The duo did not join their parents on the trip, during which Harry and Meghan will attend several philanthropic and business events.

The couple’s first day in Australia was marked by their visit to the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, where they were greeted by thousands of supporters, staff and patients.

Meghan looked chic in a Priscilla navy dress from the Australian brand Karen Gee, while Harry opted for a navy suit and white collared shirt and no tie. They took photos with and hugged members of the crowd, then joined a group therapy session at the hospital with adolescent patients.

The Duchess then visited a women’s shelter in the city and served her famous frittata to survivors of family violence before heading to the Australian National Veterans Art Museum with Harry. Here, they joined a pottery session with the children of veterans and chatted with the young group.
