Prince Harry has revealed what his new occupation is since leaving the royal family.

The Duke of Sussex, 41, gave four different responses during his appearance on Joe Marler Will See You Now, believed to have been filmed during his return to the UK last week, as the podcast is usually recorded in Kennington.

During the 42-minute episode, Harry was given an “intake questionnaire” and was asked about his current “occupation”.

He described himself as a “full-time dad, British Army veteran, Prince of England”, telling Joe that it was probably best to go with calling him the “Duke”.

He added that he’s also the founder of the Invictus Games, joking: “This is a different therapy session to what I’m used to. It’s supposed to make me feel comfortable.”

In a move that has become known as “Meg-xit”, Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, stepped down as senior working royals in 2020 and moved to California in the US.

There, they have raised their two children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, away from the public eye.

However, in an interview with ITV News in Ukraine in April, Harry said that he will “always be a part of the royal family” and said that he considers himself a working royal.

The main revelations from Harry’s chat with Joe Marler

The father-of-two featured on The Celebrity Traitors star’s podcast to mark the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games in Birmingham in 2027.

Elsewhere, the father-of-two revealed how his children support him on “hard” days.

He said: “The resilience of kids is amazing, and the way that they view life is so incredibly refreshing. If a day is hard, one thing I will do is always squeeze my kids that extra extra tight.”

Harry was asked whether England would win the FIFA World Cup, answering: “I think it’s coming home. It’s not going to be easy, but it never is. It does look good.”

He also spoke about the “misconception” that he has ginger hair, joking: “People think I’m ginger, but I’m more sort of like, sunset auburn.”

The Prince was asked about his “grooming routine”, but became sheepish when it came to discussing his hair.

He said: “Nothing really happening on top, I get a haircut, otherwise I try not to look at what’s happening. No. Um, and then, I don’t think Jake, you, we don’t need to go there.”

Prince Harry’s return to the UK

Harry concluded his visit to the UK over the weekend, which included a reunion with his father, King Charles, at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire.

The meeting, which has been kept private, saw Meghan Markle, Archie, and Lilibet meet the King for the first time since 2022.

However, no photos were released, and Harry did not have a reunion with his brother, Prince William, or sister-in-law, the Princess of Wales.

Meghan had previously withdrawn from all public-facing engagements on her return to the UK over security concerns.
