Earlier this week, Princess Eugenie announced that she is expecting her third child with her husband, Jack Brooksbank. Following the joyful news, Princess Beatrice’s younger sister was spotted running errands in central London on Wednesday, revealing her adorable baby bump in a comfortable yet chic dress.
Eugenie opted for a classic black, maxi style dress with a skintight finish. The material fashionably stretched over her blossoming bump, and she accessorised to perfection with a plethora of dainty jewels, trainers, her famously quirky sunglasses and a cosy white bomber jacket with a shearling texture. So chic!
Eugenie’s pregnancy announcement
Buckingham Palace confirmed the happy news on Monday that Eugenie, the younger daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, is set to welcome another addition to her family.
The statement read: “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together, due this summer. “August (aged five) and Ernest (aged two) are also very excited to have another sibling join the family. His Majesty The King has been informed and is delighted with the news.”
Instagram-ready
Eugenie shared her own snap on Instagram, displaying her big news.
The royal made a return to the social media site for the first time in months, sharing a sweet picture of her sons holding a baby scan, with the caption: “Baby Brooksbank due 2026!” and a series of heart and baby emojis.
Accompanying the announcement was an adorable picture of August and Ernie holding a picture of a baby scan.
We have loved her previous pregnancy announcements, too. In 2020, showcasing her very first pregnancy, Eugenie shared a photo of herself and Jack holding a pair of fluffy teddy bear slippers.
And in 2023, she shared a photo of her eldest son, August, kissing her baby bump for her second pregnancy.
Jack and Eugenie married in St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, in October 2018, and welcomed their first child, August, on 9 February 2021. His younger brother Ernest was born on 30 May 2023.
