Queen Camilla was the only one who knew of King Charles and Prince Harry’s awaited reunion

Queen Camilla was involved in a much-awaited father-son reunion. King Charles reunited with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their kids, Archie and Lilibet, in a meeting that was incredibly secretive.

According to Vanity Fair, neither Prince William nor Kate Middleton was aware of the meeting; only the Queen knew that it was taking place.

A source claims she rushed to meet the King ahead of the meeting. “She has been a pillar of strength for him throughout all the drama with Harry, and she dropped everything. She told no one, not even her family. She just got in the car and headed over. They were all on a mission to keep the meeting as watertight as possible,” they said.

Planning for the encounter appears to have been fast, allowing the Palace to keep things a secret. “The king wanted to see Harry and the children. A time was agreed for the Sussexes to come to Highgrove on Friday afternoon, and it was uncharacteristically last-minute for the king. Everyone was sworn to secrecy so that the meeting could remain private,” continued the outlet

The meeting has been confirmed by Buckingham Palace, which shared no details and made it clear that no pictures would be released. Ever since they arrived in the UK, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their children have not been photographed.

As reported by the source, King Charles and Prince Harry had an agreement to keep all of the details of the meeting between themselves.

“The agreement was made before they met the king that nothing would be shared—no photos, no details. It was a top-secret arrangement and they pulled it off, and frankly they are delighted about that,” they said.

“They were at Highgrove for an hour or so, but don’t expect to hear anything about what was said,” they continued. “That was the promise Harry made to his father. It’s critical because this is the first time the families have met in four years. Harry was very pleased it happened because everything was up in the air.”

In recent years, Harry has shared his desire to reconcile with his family, especially his father, who is 77 years old and was diagnosed with cancer.
