Rosario Dawson is giving fans a rare glimpse into her life with her boyfriend, Adama Sanneh. The couple is getting summer started early, spending time together on what looks like a romantic vacation, and they look adorable and very much in love.
On Sunday, the Seven Pounds star shared an Instagram carousel with the first image being a loved-up selfie with Sanneh. She also shared a screenshot of their locations getting closer and closer off the coast of Dakar, and a video of them being silly in front of the water.
While Dawson didn’t reveal exactly what brought the couple overseas, the trip clearly made an impact because she made a post about it. He is not someone who regularly shows up in her grid, and the actress keeps their relationship private.
Fans immediately noticed how happy the Rent star looked next to Sanneh. “Not me smiling at the locations getting closer and closer,” one person commented. “Oh snap, Rosario, he’s cute too. Y’all look so good together!” another added.

The foundation’s website explains that Sanneh graduated in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation from the University of Milan, and obtained a Master’s in Public Management (MPM) from the Bocconi School of Management and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Geneva.
After graduating, Sanneh went on to work as a management and strategy consultant for several public and nonprofit organizations, including the United Nations, focusing heavily on education, innovation, and social entrepreneurship.

She and Booker were reportedly still friends after the split. Some fans were finding out they were no longer together through her post. “Damn, I didn’t get the memo that she wasn’t with Cory Booker,” someone wrote.
Since then, Dawson and Sanneh have kept their happiness to themselves, which is very different than her relationship with Booker. While they occasionally appear together at events or in paparazzi snaps, they aren’t trying to turn out headlines or flood social media with pictures of their life together.
The rare relationship update also arrives during a busy era for Dawson professionally. She starred in Mexican Director Jonás Cuarón’s film Campeón Gabacho, which premiered at SXSW in March and has multiple projects in the works across film and television.
She is set to return as Ahsoka Tano in upcoming episodes of Ahsoka while also juggling an impressive slate of upcoming titles, including the post-production films Baton and Midnight. Several projects are in different stages of development, including Unmerciful Good Fortune, The Lesson!, Deepest, Darkest, and Speed of Light.
