Shakira’s assistant goes viral after crawling behind the singer during a live interview

That’s exactly what happened during one of Shakira‘s recent live television interviews in Spain, when an unexpected behind-the-scenes moment stole the spotlight. Instead of focusing on the singer’s latest projects, viewers couldn’t stop talking about the quick-thinking assistant who crawled across the floor to silence a repeatedly ringing phone, creating one of the funniest celebrity moments of the week. 

Shakira was appearing on the Spanish television program La Revuelta when a phone used for the interview began ringing multiple times. Host David Broncano and his team joked about the interruptions, even suggesting they should answer the call live. While the conversation continued, something unexpected happened just off camera. 

From the edge of the frame, a woman carefully crawled on all fours behind Shakira, hoping to discreetly reach the phone without interrupting the interview.

Ironically, her attempt to stay out of sight had the opposite effect.
