The story begins in 1987, when Detective Georgia Cooke is called in to investigate a gruesome massacre at a remote research station deep in the scorching Australian outback.
Four scientists have been brutally murdered, leaving a lone survivor as the primary suspect. But as Georgia’s investigation uncovers a web of mania, ritual, and the occult, her obsessive quest for the truth quickly spirals into a nightmare that threatens her career, her family, and her very sanity.
The synopsis continues: “And 37 years later, a chilling new spree of murders will pull Georgia back into this nightmare as she confronts the terrifying possibility that the horrors at Parrish Station were never fully buried…”

Meet the all-star cast
The series features a stellar ensemble. Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland) stars as the 1980s-era Georgia, while Heather Mitchell (Love Me) portrays her in the present day.
They’re joined by Xavier Samuel (Blonde, Elvis), Robert Taylor (Longmire, Scrublands), Alan Dale (The Assassin, Dynasty), Emma Lung (Wolf Like Me, Strife), Doris Younane (Five Bedrooms, McLeod’s Daughters), Kat Hoyos (Amazing Grace), Nic English (Ten Pound Poms) and Alex Malone (The Royal Hotel).
Rounding out the cast are Geoff Morrell, Rob Carlton, Alex Lee, Cameron James and Grace Owens.
