Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are husband and wife.
After 20 years of singing about true love, the 36-year-old superstar singer and Travis tied the knot, with the ceremony officiated by Adam Sandler.
In a statement given to HELLO ! from Taylor’s representative, it was confirmed that Taylor and Travis “did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis’ Best Man.
Taylor’s wedding dress
For the big day, Taylor wore a Christian Dior Haute Couture, designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections.
This is the designer’s first couture wedding dressy for a celebrity. Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry.
NFL star Travis also wore Christian Dior Haute Couture, with both Taylor and Travis involved in the designs.
Taylor also wore Cartier jewelry.
A-list guests
Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper were among the guests at the wedding of the year, as well as names from across sport and entertainment. Ed Sheeran and his wife Cherry, the Haim sisters, Camila Cabello, Erin Andrews, LA Rams quarterback Matthee Stafford, Chiefs players and their wives and girlfriends, and Dakota Johnson were all spotted arriving.
Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini and Maren Morris were among the Nashville contingent, while in a surprising twist of events, Karlie Kloss and her husband Joshua Kushner were both in attendance. Karlie and Taylor have had a fractured friendship in recent years, although were once best friends.
2023 romance
Travis, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, and Taylor started dating in the summer of 2023, and their relationship has gone stratospheric, bonding Swifties with football fans.
Taylor first caught Travis’s attention when she performed at the Kansas City Chiefs’ famous Arrowhead Stadium on the Eras Tour on July 8, 2023.
Travis would later reveal in his New Heights podcast, which he hosts with brother Jason Kelce, then-center for the Philadelphia Eagles, that he had plans to woo the “All Too Well” singer with a friendship bracelet, inspired by the tradition Swifties have made of making and trading them at shows.
In the podcast episode, released July 26, he revealed that he sadly didn’t get to meet her.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” he said. “So I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”
He revealed that the bracelet he specifically wanted to give her had his phone number on it, yet his plan to shoot his shot was unsuccessful because: “She doesn’t meet anybody, or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal.”
First public appearance
Rumors began circulating in the following weeks that the pair had connected via mutual friends, but it was mid-September that they confirmed their blossoming romance when Taylor made the bold decision to join Travis’; family at an NFL game.
As the Chiefs player reflected on the game in the following days with his brother on their podcast, he called Taylor “pretty ballsy” for showing up.
“I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her, the friends and family”, he gushed, adding that “she looked amazing. Everybody was talking about her in great light and on top of that, the day went perfect for Chiefs fans, of course.”
He called it a “game to remember,” adding: “To see the slow-motion chest bumps, to see the high-fives with Mom, to see how Chiefs Kingdom was all excited that she was there.”
Global romance
Their romance continued over the following year, with Taylor attending as many NFL games as she could while carrying out the global Ertas Tour. In return, Travis would fly around the globe to attend shows when he had bye-weeks.
In July 2024, he even appeared on stage with Taylor during one of her record-breaking Wembley shows for a segment in which Taylor pretends to be a performing marionette doll who has to sing and dance while with a broken heart – a clear nod to her former partners, Joe Alwyn and Matty Healy, both from London.
Taylor appeared on Travis and his brother Jason’s New Heights podcast for the very first time — also her first podcast appearance ever — in August 2025, for a two-hour, wide-ranging interview where she talked about her relationship with Travis, getting her masters back, and most notably, announcing her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl, which released October 3 2025.
2025 engagement
It was 13 days later – a notable number for Taylor – that they confirmed they were officially engaged.
The couple shared the news on social media through a set of photos capturing Travis’ romantic proposal, the huge diamond ring he gave his now wife, and the beautiful floral setting in which it all went down.
Their engagement post on Instagram also quickly went viral, attracting over 17 million likes in just a matter of hours.
Less than a year later, they tied the knot with an extravagant celebration in New York City’s Madison Square Garden, shutting down blocks around the game arena.
