Taylor Swift’s ex Conor Kennedy gets married after not making her wedding guest list

Taylor Swift’s former flame Conor Kennedy has officially entered a new chapter. The 31-year-old activist, attorney and son of U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. recently married Brazilian singer Giulia Be, capping off a four-year romance that began long after his brief relationship with Taylor Swift in 2012. 

The milestone came just months before Swift exchanged vows with Travis Kelce in one of the biggest celebrity weddings of the year.

Conor and Giulia quietly made their marriage official in March during an intimate civil ceremony in Los Angeles attended by close family members. The private celebration marked the legal beginning of their marriage before the couple plans a larger religious celebration later this year in Brazil. 

Conor Kennedy and Giulia Be’s love story:

The couple first met while vacationing in Mexico in early 2022 and quickly kept their romance largely out of the spotlight. That same year, Giulia relocated from Rio de Janeiro to Los Angeles so they could build a life together.

They officially debuted as a couple at Roc Nation’s Grammy Brunch in February 2023 before announcing their engagement in August 2024. 

At the time, Giulia shared the happy news on Instagram alongside photos of her pear-shaped diamond ring, writing, “Easiest yes of all time.”

Nearly four years after first getting together, they officially became husband and wife in March 2026. 

His romance with Taylor Swift:

Before finding lasting love with Giulia, Conor briefly dated Taylor Swift during the summer of 2012. Their relationship lasted only a few months before they quietly split that October, with reports at the time attributing the breakup to distance and demanding schedules.

Unlike several of Swift’s other high-profile relationships, there has never been any public feud between the former couple. After the split, Taylor remained friendly with members of the Kennedy family for a period before eventually selling her Cape Cod home and moving on with her life. 

Conor was not part of Taylor Swift’s wedding celebration:

When Taylor Swift married Travis Kelce on July 3 in New York, Conor Kennedy was not among the star-studded guest list. Reports surrounding the highly anticipated ceremony noted that invitations were limited to the couple’s closest family and friends, with nearly 1,000 guests attending the lavish celebration.

Although Conor was celebrating his own marriage around the same period, the former couple’s lives have long since gone in different directions. He has focused on his legal career, political activism and relationship with Giulia Be, while Swift has built a new chapter alongside Kelce.

The overlapping wedding celebrations inevitably sparked comparisons online, but today both have clearly moved on, each beginning married life with different partners more than a decade after their brief summer romance.
