Alex Rodriguez and girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro have officially gone their separate ways after more than three years of dating. The fitness influencer and bodybuilder confirmed the breakup in a statement to TMZ on Thursday, emphasizing that the split has remained respectful and drama-free.
“To clarify, Alex and I are currently taking some time apart but there continues to be mutual love, care, and deep respect between us and for our families,” Cordeiro shared. “We remain supportive of one another, and there is absolutely no animosity, drama, or negative story here,” she added.
Cordeiro also revealed that her attention is currently focused on a difficult personal matter involving a family member. “Alex and I continue to be very close, and out of respect for everyone involved especially our daughters and loved ones I’d kindly ask that any reporting reflects the compassion and privacy this situation deserves,” she concluded.
A source close to the former couple told TMZ that Rodriguez, 50, and Cordeiro, 46, actually ended their relationship roughly two months ago.

The former New York Yankees superstar and the Canadian fitness trainer were first romantically linked in 2022. At the time, reports surfaced that the pair were “enjoying spending time” together before eventually making things Instagram official later that year during the holiday season in New York City.
