Zendaya is premiering a new movie, and thus, a new look. The actress is currently in Mexico with her husband, Tom Holland, with the two promoting “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.” The blockbuster marks their second movie of the year together, with them promoting “The Odyssey” over the past couple of weeks.
During the special event, Zendaya once again showed why she’s one of the biggest style icons of her generation, this time with a beauty look that seemed to pay homage to Audrey Hepburn.
Zendaya wore a Spring/Summer 2026 Haute Couture striking black dress from Ashi Studio, letting the hair and makeup do the talking. The result was a classic, refined look with a cinematic feel that recalled Hollywood’s biggest icons while still winking at the film she’s promoting.
An Audrey Hepburn-inspired updo
Zendaya wore a high, voluminous updo, a silhouette that can’t help but bring to mind the hairstyles that Audrey Hepburn made famous during her golden era in the 1950s and ’60s. But rather than recreating it literally, Zendaya used it as a jumping-off point, giving it a more relaxed finish.
One of the standout details was the wispy micro-bangs, a style that’s been popular with celebrities since 2024. Light, airy, and textured, the bangs framed her face and played up her features, giving the whole look a youthful yet sophisticated edge.
Zendaya and Tom take Mexico
She was accompanied by her husband, Tom Holland, who opted for a matching black double-breasted tux with an adorable spider pin.
The couple has been busy with their work, promoting blockbusters like “The Odyssey” and “Spider-Man” in different countries. Holland has been featured prominently during the press rounds and has referred to Zendaya as his wife for the first time since the two were rumored to have been married earlier this year.
In an appearance on the podcast The Dish, Holland was asked about who he’d like to travel to Greece with from his “The Odyssey” cast members. “I think probably my wife would be pretty good,” he said. “It would be a bit strange if I went, ‘Sorry babe, I’m gonna take Matt actually,” he joked, refering to Matt Damon, who plays his father in the film.
In another interview with Wired, while answering fan questions, Holland again referred to Zendaya as his wife when answering a question about her character Athena.
“Did Athena love Odysseus romantically?” Holland read off one of the prompts. “No, because she’s married to me.”
