Brooklyn Beckham, Paris Hilton and more celebrities mourn Presley Gerber after his death at 27

Presley Gerber’s friends and fellow celebrities are sharing emotional tributes following the model’s death at age 27. Gerber, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber and the older brother of model and actress Kaia Gerber, died Sunday, September 20, 2026, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. Records indicate that he died at a rehabilitation facility. A cause of death has not been disclosed. 

A representative for the Crawford-Gerber family confirmed his death and released a brief statement asking for space as his loved ones grieve. “The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time,” the representative said. 

As news of Gerber’s death spread, Paris Hilton, Brooklyn Beckham, Brody Jenner, Camille Grammer and other public figures shared messages remembering him and offering condolences to his family.

Brooklyn Beckham says he is “so heartbroken” over Presley Gerber

Brooklyn Peltz Beckham was among Gerber’s friends to publicly mourn him. Beckham shared a photo of himself standing beside Gerber on his Instagram Stories. In the image, the two friends pose with their arms around one another. “I am so heartbroken,” Beckham wrote. “Presley you were the kindest and we are going to miss you so much x we love you.” 

Paris Hilton remembers Presley Gerber as a “beautiful soul”

Paris Hilton shared one of the most extensive public tributes to Gerber. “I’m completely heartbroken. I still can’t believe this is real,” Hilton wrote on Instagram Stories.

She remembered her longtime friend as a “beautiful soul,” describing him as sweet, sensitive, kind, and genuine. Hilton added that she cared deeply about Gerber and would miss him “more than words can say.” 

Hilton also reflected on the time they spent together and said she would cherish their memories, including their conversations and laughter. “You had such a gentle heart,” she wrote, before expressing her hope that Gerber knew how loved he was. She concluded by sending her support to his family and writing, “Rest in peace, my friend. Love you forever.” 

Gerber had attended the January 2026 premiere of Hilton’s Infinite Icon: A Visual Memoir, which was among his public appearances in the months before his death, as reported by Page Six.

Hilton had also left a poignant message on Gerber’s final Instagram post before news of his death became public. Beneath the August post, she wrote, “Love you bro.” 

Brody Jenner leaves a tribute to Presley Gerber

Brody Jenner was also among the celebrities who reacted publicly. Jenner left a message on Gerber’s final Instagram post, writing, “love you brother,” alongside dove and broken-heart emojis. 

The simple message joined a growing collection of condolences appearing across Gerber’s social media following confirmation of his death.

Camille Grammer says she is “heartbroken for the family”

Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer turned her attention to Gerber’s grieving relatives. “Oh no! So sad! Heartbroken for the family,” Grammer wrote in an Instagram comment. 

Crawford and Rande have not released an extensive personal statement about their son’s death as of September 21, instead requesting privacy through their representative. 

Brad Garrett sends “love and comfort” to the Gerber family

Everybody Loves Raymond actor Brad Garrett described the news as “heartbreaking.” 

“Sending the family love and comfort,” Garrett wrote on Instagram. While Brittany Furlan, the wife of Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, also reacted to the news, posting prayer-hands and crying emojis in response. 

Phaedra Parks shares a message for Cindy Crawford and her family

Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Phaedra Parks shared a message centered on Crawford and Rande’s loss as parents.“This is every parents’ nightmare. Praying for their strength,” Parks wrote, adding, “May peace be still.” 

Actor Jerry O’Connell also responded with a brief tribute: “God rest his soul.” 

Presley Gerber had spoken openly about his struggles

Gerber began modeling as a teenager and went on to work with major fashion houses and brands including Calvin Klein and Dolce & Gabbana. He also appeared alongside Crawford in Pepsi’s 2018 Super Bowl commercial. 

In more recent years, however, Gerber increasingly used his public platform to discuss mental health and addiction.

During a 2023 appearance on the Studio 22 podcast, he said that helping even one person escape the difficult place he had once found himself in would be meaningful to him. He described managing his mental health as a “24/7 job” and said he hoped others could learn from mistakes he had made. 

Gerber continued speaking publicly about recovery before his death. In a March 2026 Instagram post about treatment, he admitted he had been “absolutely terrified” but said the experience had helped him begin “finding my way back to myself.” Crawford responded to that post by telling her son she was proud of him. 

He also participated in a mental health event in Malibu in June. Journalist Vanessa Powell, who attended, later remembered him as “so kind, vulnerable, and inspiring,” noting that Crawford had been there to support her son.

Just over two months before Gerber’s death, Crawford celebrated his 27th birthday with an emotional Instagram post. “I’m so proud of the man you’ve become,” she wrote on July 2, adding that she would always see him as her “little boy.” 

Kaia had also spoken candidly about her brother shortly before his death. In an interview published in Vogue’s September 2026 issue, she discussed the impact of his long struggle with addiction on their family and praised his willingness to be open about experiences that the family might once have kept private.
