Brooklyn Beckham has missed another family member’s birthday. Over the weekend, the Beckham crew got together to celebrate Victoria Beckham’s dad, Tony Adams‘ 80th birthday.
The family had a formal party, and nearly everyone in the Beckham family was in attendance. David Beckham, Victoria, and his siblings, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, were all dressed to impress and honor the patriarch in suits and ties. But once again, 27-year-old Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, were missing. It’s the latest example of what fans have noticed as growing distance within the family.
Even though he skipped the party, Brooklyn still shared a sweet tribute to his grandfather on Instagram Stories. So if the 80-year-old has Instagram, he still feels some of the love.

The eldest Beckham son has not been sharing posts for any of his immediate family members’ birthdays, so his dedication to his grandpa makes it clear the bad blood doesn’t extend that far.
Earlier this month was David’s 51st birthday, and Brooklyn was absent for the second consecutive year. While his siblings all shared dedications to David, Brooklyn did not.
Meanwhile, Victoria documented the elegant family gathering on social media, sharing photos of herself alongside husband, David, and their three younger children.
The family dressed in formal black-tie looks, with Victoria wearing a pale blue silk gown from her own collection, while Harper matched the glamorous mood in a black lace-trimmed dress.
The party also gave another glimpse into how close the Beckham family has become with Romeo’s girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, and Cruz’s girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, both of whom appeared throughout Victoria’s family photo carousels.

Brooklyn’s absence comes amid continued reports of tension within the Beckham family. It’s been reported that David and Victoria have not spoken to their eldest son since last May. It marks one year since things went haywire when Brooklyn and Nicola missed David’s big 50th birthday celebration.
