Country star Nate Smith is completely transformed after 70-pound weight loss

Country star Nate Smith is celebrating a major personal milestone after revealing his dramatic 71-pound weight loss transformation.

The 40-year-old singer-songwriter took to Instagram on Saturday to share a striking side-by-side comparison showing just how much his appearance has changed since beginning his health journey.

“Another milestone reached today,” the ‘Bulletproof’ singer captioned the emotional post.

The before-and-after images quickly caught fans’ attention, with many commenting that the country star looked almost completely unrecognisable.

In the older photo, Nate could be seen posing with friends while holding a soda can and wearing a denim jacket, appearing noticeably heavier.

The newer snap, however, showed a dramatically slimmer version of the singer sporting a fitted red T-shirt that highlighted his tattoo-covered arms and significantly leaner frame.

Fans immediately flooded the comments section with praise and support for the singer’s dedication and honesty throughout his health journey.

“Wow!!! Well done I’m sure you feel great!!! Looking great and your energy level through the roof!!!,” one follower wrote.

Another commented: “It’s incredible what you can achieve when you put your mind to something and stay the course! Proud of you, Nate!”

“That’s a huge achievement! I know exactly how hard that is,” a third person added. “You can see that you’re feeling good. Well done!”

Nate has previously spoken candidly about the difficult reality that pushed him to finally make major lifestyle changes.

“I was out of breath all the time… I’d get dizzy just tying my shoes,” he told People in an earlier interview. “I felt like I was slowly killing myself, and I didn’t know what to do about it.”

The singer revealed that a severe upper respiratory infection, combined with concern from his parents over his appearance and health, became a turning point for him emotionally.

Nate officially began his weight loss journey in November 2024, focusing on cutting back alcohol consumption while increasing protein intake and making healthier day-to-day choices.

By spring 2025, the country star had already lost 55 pounds – and he has continued building on that progress ever since.
