Dua Lipa is one of pop music’s biggest stars, so sometimes she likes to keep things low-key – but still fashionable. The “Dance the Night” singer was photographed arriving at a recording studio in New York City on Wednesday looking almost incognito.
With a black hoodie draped over her head like a scarf and oversized sunglasses covering much of her face, Dua appeared determined to fly under the radar as she stepped out of a black SUV.
Still, her off-duty style managed to make a statement. The 30-year-old rocked a bright green fitted T-shirt with black track pants, finishing the look with a customized black Hermès Birkin covered in colorful scarves and playful charms. The Birkin has become one of her fashion staples, and the iconic bags can cost more than $65k on the website.
Her black Completedworks x ASICS sneakers are also getting attention, with fans wondering if the dad shoe is coming back.
Despite the understated look, one detail was impossible to miss: the sparkling wedding ring on her left hand.
From street to chic
The next day, Lipa returned to Electric Lady Studios, only fueling theories that she could have a new album on the way.
She switched gears, wearing a black polka-dot halter midi dress paired with knee-high leather boots, a navy New York Yankees cap and oversized sunglasses. She carried the same customized Hermès Birkin, proving the luxury bag has quickly become her go-to accessory.
Can a new album be on the way?
It’s been two years since she released her album Radical Optimism in May 2024, with a world tour that followed, grossing over $141.1 million
Although she hasn’t officially announced a new project, the frequent studio sightings have sparked speculation that she’s beginning work on new music sooner than expected.
The studio outings come just weeks after reports confirmed that Lipa and actor Callum Turner had tied the knot in an intimate ceremony after months of engagement speculation.
While the newlyweds have largely kept the details of their relationship private, the Grammy winner has subtly embraced her new chapter with no signs of slowing down when it comes to her work.
