Eva Green was reportedly taken to the hospital after suffering an on-set accident while filming the third season of Netflix’s Wednesday.
The 45-year-old French actress, who is joining the hit series for its upcoming season, is said to have injured her leg while filming near Dublin, Ireland. According to reports, production was temporarily paused following the incident before resuming later this month.

A source claimed the injury was serious enough to prompt an immediate medical response.
“This was really nasty. Eva sustained an injury and was clearly in pain and producers were taking no chances.”
The insider added that medical staff were called to the set before Green was transported to a hospital for treatment.
“Medics were called and Eva went to hospital. She underwent treatment and is now recovering well.”
Star-Studded Cast Expands for Season 3
Green, best known for portraying Bond girl Vesper Lynd in Casino Royale, is among several high-profile additions joining the third season of Wednesday.
Also joining the cast are Lena Headey, James Lance, and Andrew McCarthy, alongside previously announced newcomers Winona Ryder, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan, Kennedy Moyer, and Chris Sarandon.
What Fans Can Expect
Production on Season 3 began earlier this year, though Netflix has yet to announce an official release date. Fans are already speculating that the streamer could once again split the season into two parts, following the release strategy used for Season 2.
The series stars Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams, the sharp-witted teenager attending Nevermore Academy while unraveling supernatural mysteries.
Season 3 is expected to continue the story after the dramatic Season 2 finale, which left Wednesday’s best friend Enid missing and teased a chilling vision predicting Wednesday’s own death.
Creators Tease More Darkness Ahead
Series creators, showrunners and executive producers Al Gough and Miles Millar previously celebrated the start of production with a message hinting at even more eerie surprises ahead.
“It’s our dark delight to fling open Nevermore Academy’s gates once more as we begin production on Season Three,” the message began.
“We thank our invincible cast and crew for their continued commitment to doom and gloom,” it continued. “To the fans, we appreciate your patience and ravenous online commentary – your twisted theories have inspired nightmares.”
The message concluded: “This season we welcome new students, new teachers, and excavate some long-rotting Addams Family secrets. Don’t say you weren’t warned.”
