Selma Blair looked better than ever as she donned a red bikini and a bright smile while celebrating her birthday month on social media. The 54-year-old looked stunning in the photo posted to Instagram, which saw her smiling widely in the swimsuit, alongside her close friend, Pearl Harbor and Sin City actress Jaime King, who also wore a red bikini top under a black T-shirt.
The blonde beauty enjoyed a pool day with her friend, and included the snap in a carousel of photos recapping the month of June, in which she turned 54. “June, you were very full,” she began in the caption.
“New York. Arthur. Friends who make everything lighter. Rooms I was happy to be in. Moments that felt big, and the smaller ones I may love even more. Grateful for the people, the laughter, the city, and the little dog who continues to run the whole operation.”
Elsewhere in the carousel, Selma shared a photo of her blowing out candles on a dessert next to her 14-year-old son, Arthur, as well as a snap of her walking in the city dressed in a glamorous black and purple dress with spaghetti straps.
In another shot, the Cruel Intentions star got dressed up for an event, with her son by her side in a white suit. Several other photos featured selfies with her friends, and her Labrador, Scout. The mother of one rang in her birthday in June with a post that saw her blowing out candles on a birthday cake in front of her friends and her son.
“Another year. Love in all its forms. Cake, my Arthur, lovely people. Thank you,” she wrote in the caption. Selma shares Arthur with her ex-boyfriend Jason Bleick, whom she dated for two years between 2010 and 2012. Selma’s journey to health and happiness has been long and arduous, following her diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis in 2018.
The chronic autoimmune disease occurs when the immune system attacks the protective casing around the nerve fibres, leaving sufferers with symptoms like muscle weakness, numbness, vision problems, coordination and balance issues, extreme fatigue and memory problems.

The actress has been in remission from the disease since 2021, and shared on the Today show in April 2026 that she was doing “really well” despite feeling constantly fatigued.
“That’s just the truth of it. So I don’t want any of the people with chronic illness to feel like, ‘How does she do that?’ I’m like, ‘Oh no, no, that’s makeup and happiness. There’s fatigue,'” she explained. “But I am, really, really well. I am relapse-free. I’m happy.”
Selma previously told People that being in remission had allowed her to refocus on her goals and dreams, instead of living in survival mode.
“It’s funny, I haven’t spent enough time having dreams. And now it’s like, what are my dreams?” she said.
“I think maybe since the diagnosis…You’re just tired all the time. I spent so much of my life so tired from being unwell that I think I just was trying to get through the day. And now it’s like, wait, I realize I don’t know what my goals are.”
