Liverpool-born Jodie Comer is not only a Hollywood starlet and West End leading lady, but now she is the queen of the ‘naked dress trend’ if her latest look is anything to go by.
The Killing Eve actress, 33, looked simply resplendent on Wednesday, stepping out at the world premiere of The Death of Robin Hood in New York City.
For the occasion, the Prima Facie star chose a killer black lace ‘nake dress’ which was incredibly sheer and featured long sleeves and an elegant pie-crust neckline.
Under her decadent gown, Jodie’s sleek black underwear was elegantly exposed, completing her zeitgeisty look – a trend sparked by Margot Robbie’s ‘naked dress’ moment last year.
And when it came to glam for the occasion, her hair and makeup were equally as flawless as her all-lace look.
Jodie had her honey blonde tresses styled in immaculate beach-style waves, perfectly complementing her brown-hued eye makeup combination, sunkissed bronzer and nude lipstick makeup combination.
Completing Jodie’s ensemble was a pair of barely-there strappy black stilettos.
Jodie’s look-book
While it’s hard to imagine having any regrets with a sartorial portfolio as strong as the British-born star’s, reflecting on her red carpet looks, Jodie previously confessed she has had some fashion faux pas.
The 28 Days Later star told Elle: “One [fashion regret] that has sprung to mind is wearing Ugg boots [so much] to where they wore in so much they kind of dipped in at the back.
“I have a lot of pictures from my early teens where there’s lots of colourful skinny jeans trying to dress different, which I don’t regret actually. I’m glad that my parents let me experiment and live through those years.”
Red carpet bombshell
Jodie’s latest foray on the red carpet came after she dazzled us almost exactly one year ago in the futuristic dress of dreams, when she stepped out for the premiere of 28 Days Later.
Jodie called on famed Italian fashion house Prada to create her a custom look for the occasion. The starlet opted for a slim-fitting metallic silver halterneck gown, which came complete with matching metallic eyeshadow.
