Harper Beckham’s beauty brand gets a new name after trademark setback

Harper Beckham is officially taking another step toward the beauty industry. After her first trademark application was rejected by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the youngest child of David and Victoria Beckham has reportedly settled on a new name for her upcoming beauty venture, ‘Halo by Harper.’

Earlier this year, it emerged that Harper’s first choice for the brand was HIKU by Harper, a name inspired by Korean beauty.

However, according to reports in the British press, the trademark application was refused because “Hiku” was already registered for personal care products and fragrances, while “Harper” also conflicted with an existing trademark in the cleaning products sector.

Just two months later, Harper, who celebrated her 15th birthday on July 10, has reportedly secured a new identity for the project with Halo by Harper, a name said to have a modern, gender-neutral feel.

While an official launch date has yet to be announced, industry reports suggest Halo by Harper is expected to debut in 2027, targeting Generation Z and Generation Alpha consumers with a range of skincare and makeup products.

The first releases are expected to focus on everyday essentials, including cleansers and face creams, marking the beginning of what could become a broader beauty collection.

Harper isn’t navigating the venture alone. Her mother, Victoria Beckham, is reportedly playing a key advisory role as her daughter prepares to enter the beauty business.

Victoria’s experience makes her a natural mentor. Since launching Victoria Beckham Beauty in 2019, the brand has become one of the most successful celebrity beauty labels. It reportedly generated £2 million in revenue during its first three months, contributing to Victoria Beckham’s fashion and beauty business becoming profitable from 2022 onward.
