The global superstar, also known as Mr. Worldwide, made history during his headline performance at American Express presents BST Hyde Park in London after 22,141 fans wearing bald caps helped set the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people in bald caps.
The record was officially verified at 5 p.m. by Guinness World Records adjudicator Will Munford, turning one of Pitbull’s most recognizable fan traditions into a record-breaking moment.

Earlier this year, Pitbull, whose real name is Armando Christian Pérez, announced plans to make the tradition official by attempting a Guinness World Record. Months of planning paid off on Sunday when more than 22,000 fans gathered in matching bald caps at London’s Hyde Park, officially securing the record.
The milestone was confirmed live on stage by Will Munford, while BBC Radio 1 presenter Greg James joined the celebration by presenting Pitbull with his Guinness World Records title.

The record-breaking bald cap gathering wasn’t the only achievement of the night.
Pitbull also performed in front of 69,999 fans, making it the largest-attended concert in BST Hyde Park history. The sold-out show added another historic chapter to one of London’s biggest annual music festivals.
The celebration reached fans around the world through a three-hour livestream on Pitbull’s official YouTube channel. The broadcast featured fan interviews, backstage moments, commentary from Jamie Laing and Jack Remmington, and the official Guinness World Records presentation.

The record-breaking atmosphere carried into an energetic performance filled with some of Pitbull’s biggest hits.
He kicked off the night with “Don’t Stop the Party” before performing crowd favorites including “Hotel Room Service” and “I Feel Good,” as reported by People.
The surprises continued when Lil Jon joined him on stage for performances of “Gasolina,” “Jumpin’,” and “Damn I Love Miami.” According to the publication, later in the evening, Kesha appeared for a live performance of their global smash hit “Timber,” drawing one of the night’s loudest reactions.
The celebration continued with “Time Of Our Lives” before Pitbull closed the main set with “Fireball,” featuring Los Tucanes De Tijuana.
