Hilary Swank’s rarely-seen twins are looking so grown up in an ultra-rare family photo from the star’s private family album.
The Hollywood actress, 51, spent a wholesome day at the Seattle Aquarium recently with her three-year-olds, Aya and Ohm, and who appeared to be her husband Philip Schneider. Hilary sweetly had her arm around her toddler son as she crouched down to point out a stingray swimming above them in a precious family snap shared to mark World Oceans Day.
Behind them, Hilary’s daughter Aya, who had her hair up in an adorable ponytail, looked captivated by the sea life as she sat in her dad’s arms. In another photo, the actress had the biggest smile on her face as she got up close for a picture with a penguin.
“World Oceans Day was a few weeks ago but truth is, celebrating our oceans and the incredible wildlife they’re home to, should be something we do every day,” she captioned the pictures.
“Here are a few sweet spots I’ve visited this year, all working towards rehabilitation, conservation, and education around marine life and our waters,” she added.
“Also.. how CUTE is this rescue penguin? … Do you think the chickens would welcome him if I brought him home?” she said, referring to the seven chickens she recently welcomed at home on the family farm in Colorado.
Private family album
After tying the knot in 2018, Hilary and Philip expanded their family in April 2023 when they welcomed their twins. Hilary was 47 when she became pregnant, and 48 when she gave birth.
The Freedom Writers actress has shared rare glimpses of her private life on social media over the last three years, from baking in the kitchen with her twins to celebrating Christmas as a family.

Saying ‘I do’
Hilary and Philip got married at the Santa Lucia Preserve in Carmel, California in August 2018 after a two-year engagement.
“Both Philip and I are nature lovers and whenever we get the opportunity to be outdoors, that’s where we like to spend it. So we knew we wanted to get married outside, that it had to be close to home in Los Angeles and private,” the actress told HELLO! in an exclusive interview.

The actress wore a stunning Elie Saab Couture wedding gown, which comprised 82ft of chantilly lace, 26ft of silk chiffon, and 19ft of silk organza, and took 150 hours to craft. “I had kept the dress secret so he didn’t know what to expect but his reaction was beautiful – he gasped,” she said of her husband’s reaction to her dress on the day.
