Charles spoke at the event about the “enduring bond” between the UK and the US, adding that it was “a relationship rooted in shared creativity, enterprise and values, reminding us we are truly greater together”. The monarch shared that he was “proud” of the King’s Trust’s work over the past five decades and of its “investment in young people”.
