A major storm didn’t stop the Hamptons from partying.
Richie Akiva hosted his annual bash, The Afters, bringing out a A-list guests and hundreds of crashers.
We hear that while 400 people were invited, 1,000 showed up. Some even resorted to “sneaking into the event through the surrounding woods” at Sagaponack beach, says a spy.
A source lucky enough to get inside tells us heavyweight Mike Tyson celebrated his 60th birthday with a cake as the party serenaded the boxing champion.
Tobey Maguire, Travis Scott, Cuba Gooding Jr., Laura Harrier, Alabama Barker, Jordyn Woods, Justine Skye and many more attended the event co-hosted by fashion designer Elie Tahari’s son, Jeremey Tahari.
“Tate McRae and Alix Earle were dancing on a banquet for hours, having the best time,” along with Earle’s sister Ashtin and Anastasia Karanikolaou, says spy. “They took their heels off and climbed up on the couch. . . It felt like a classy outdoor rave in the Hamptons.”
Akiva tells us, “Everyone just wanted to dance, and keep dancing by the ocean into the late night hours. . . It was a scene you usually only see in places like Tulum or Saint-Tropez, but everyone just kept dancing and dancing with no end in site. It was truly magical.”
We hear there was a massive fireworks show at around 11pm as DJ Vanjee spun.
The party, held on Thursday, functioned as the unofficial after-after party for Michael Rubin’s star-studded White Party and was sponsored by New York City casino Resort World and cannabis distributor Boukét.
We hear McRae came back to the city attend Swift and Kelce’s wedding, before jetting back out for more Hamptons fun.
The “Greedy” singer was also spotted at Nylon’s huge bash at the Surf Lodge in Montauk.
Snoop Dogg performed at the lakeside hotspot in front of guests including Millie Bobby Brown and her husband Jake Bongiovi, top influencer Earle, “Scream Queens” star Emma Roberts, Bethenny Frankel and Damon Dash and Rachel Ray’s daughter Ava Dash.
The three day residency — thrown along with Starbucks Coffee Company — also featured Murda Beatz, Hugel, and Carlita.
Meanwhile, Tao Group’s swanky Crane Club took over a private estate in Sagaponack for its annual members-only Fourth of July BBQ on Friday with Chef Melissa Rodriguez serving up a raw bar with caviar alongside classic barbecue.
A spy tells us that Leonardo DiCaprio, Sofia Vergara, Kyle Cooke, and Karl-Anthony Towns were a few of the VIPs.
We hear Bentley loaned out a fleet of luxury cars to chauffeur members of the Chelsea spot out East.
And over in Southampton, socialite and thoroughbred owner Sheila Rosenblum — founder of the all-female Lady Sheila Stable Two racing syndicate — hosted former Douglas Elliman President and CEO Dottie Herman, former New York Assemblyman Jerry Kremer, and former Modell’s Sporting Goods CEO Mitchell Modell at her estate. We’re told guests enjoyed a fireworks display before the sudden summer storm sent the festivities indoors.
