Jannik Sinner’s girlfriend Laila Hasanović steps into the spotlight

Jannik Sinner is right now the best tennis player on the planet, and his latest victory in Monte Carlo only reinforces that status. The Italian continues to dominate the ATP Tour in 2026, firmly holding the world. No. 1 ranking while adding another prestigious title to his résumé.

He made history at the Monte Carlo Masters by defeating Carlos Alcaraz in the final to secure his 27th career ATP title. The 7-6, 6-3 win not only underlined his authority but also marked his return to the top of the rankings. The 24-year-old is back at world No. 1 after dropping the top spot to Alcaraz in September 2025.

Carrying over his momentum from last season, Sinner has extended an extraordinary run that includes Grand Slam success and multiple Masters 1000 titles. His rivalry with Alcaraz remains the defining storyline in men’s tennis, but for now, the edge belongs to the Italian.

Outside of the court, he is also in a strong personal position. He has been dating Danish model of Bosnian descent Laila Hasanovic for several months, and the two have increasingly appeared together at key moments in his career.

At the Monte Carlo Masters, Hasanovic drew attention in the stands with her poised and confident presence. Watching from the players’ box alongside Formula 1 driver George Russell, she cheered him on as he delivered a composed performance in the final.

Known for his reserved personality, Sinner rarely discusses his private life, which made his recent admission that he is very much in love all the more notable. Hasanovic has consistently shown her support for him at various events, even sitting alongside his family on multiple occasions.

She also appears to have formed a close connection with those closest to him. In recent months, she was spotted with his mother, Siglinde, during tournaments, further signaling the seriousness of the relationship.

Who Is Laila Hasanović

Hasanovic first came into the spotlight in connection with Sinner in May 2025, when the pair were photographed during a quiet outing in Copenhagen. At the time, she was described as a mystery woman, though her identity quickly became known.

She had previously been in a relationship with racing driver Mick Schumacher, son of Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher. Earlier, she was also linked to Danish international footballer Jonas Wind, who plays for Bundesliga club Wolfsburg.

At 24, she began her career early, landing a campaign at 16 with Scandinavian luxury brand Daniel Wellington. She later competed in the Miss Denmark 2019 pageant, finishing among the top ten finalists.

Since then, she has maintained a steady presence in the fashion world and frequently attends high-profile events. She was among the standout guests at last year’s Venice Film Festival, where she drew attention on the red carpet at the premiere of La Grazia.
