Jennifer Aniston is keeping her relationship with boyfriend Jim Curtis relatively low-key, but according to sources, the actress is happier than she’s been in a long time.
A source told People that the couple recently celebrated their 1st anniversary. They went on to gush about how Curtis, who also has a busy work schedule, has become a steady and supportive presence in Aniston’s life while she balances filming season five of The Morning Show.
“It’s a great partnership and makes Jen very happy,” the insider shared, adding, “Jim’s a special guy. Everyone loves his energy.”
And apparently, that energy is part of what made the relationship feel different from the beginning. According to the source, Aniston and Curtis started as friends before things turned romantic, which helped everything feel “much more genuine from the start.” The pair reportedly spent months talking and getting to know each other before officially dating.

We chatted for a long time, and we became close.”
The couple was first linked in July 2025 after being spotted vacationing together in Mallorca, Spain. Insiders later revealed Aniston was initially cautious about turning the friendship into something more serious.

But fans quickly noticed Curtis tucked into the carousel holding a baby while smiling at the camera. Curtis, who shares a teenage son named Aidan with ex-wife Rachel Napolitano, looked completely at ease.
