Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are both making the most of their European summer in love – just not with each other. This week they were both spotted looking happy with their partners, with Perry spending time in the South of France.
The 41-year-old singer was photographed enjoying a boat day with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and a group of friends on Tuesday, July 28.
Perry looked ready for the Mediterranean heat in a fitted light blue dress, sunglasses and statement gold earrings, with her dark hair slicked back into a low bun. At one point, Trudeau helped Perry apply sunscreen to her famous chest.
He had a large smile on his face, looking like he was exactly where he wanted to be.
The group appeared to be in good spirits as they spent time on the water. Perry and Trudeau were photographed smiling and looking at something on her phone together, while other shots captured them relaxing with friends aboard the boat.
The couple has been celebrating the end of her Euro Summer Festival tour, which ended on Saturday in Switzerland. It may be the first of many stops. A source told Page Six she was planning a yacht getaway. “Between touring, she would like to cruise to some beautiful places with her boyfriend and possibly their kids,” the insider said.
Perry shares her 5-year-old daughter, Daisy, with ex-fiancé Bloom. Trudeau is also a parent, sharing sons Xavier, 18, and Hadrien, 12, and daughter Ella-Grace, 17, with his ex-wife, Sophie Grégoire.
The outing comes during a new loved-up chapter for Perry, who has been navigating life after her split from Bloom following nearly a decade together.
Orlando Bloom was recently spotted with Luisa Laemmel
Perry isn’t the only one attracting attention over who she’s spending time with. Bloom, 49, was recently spotted with German model Luisa Laemmel during a European getaway.
The two were photographed together in Saint-Tropez in July, after spending time in Milan in June. Their relationship first caught attention in February, when they were spotted leaving Levi’s Stadium together after the Super Bowl
They were later linked to a trip to Laemmel’s native Switzerland in March. Page Six reported at the time that Bloom and Laemmel had been “quietly seeing each other for several months.”
The source even called them a “proper little family unit,” explaining that he flew his teacup poodle Biggie Smalls over for the trip.
