The Princess of Wales’ brother James lives an idyllic life in Berkshire with his beautiful wife, Alizée, their two-year-old son, Inigo, and his pack of furry siblings.
One of whom, Nala, recently featured in a sweet video from the Middleton family home. In the clip, which James shared on his official account for his dog food and lifestyle brand, James & Ella.
In the clip, James and his adorable pup unintentionally showed off a fabulous detail from their home, and were poised in front of a beautiful cabinet fixed to his elegant sage green walls.
The unit was filled with pasta, flour and oats, all poured into glass jars, but the piece de resistance were the dog treats dotted in between the household ingredients – a must for any doting dog dad like James.
“Nala couldn’t contain her excitement,” James quipped in part of a lengthy caption that detailed all the ingredients of James’ new dog food topper, which he was promoting.
“Love you James and your passion for dogs!” one fan penned. A second added: “Your dogs are the sweetest.’ Meanwhile, a third penned: “Feel the love,” alongside a pink love heart emoji.
As well as Nala, James is the proud owner of his dogs Zulu, Inka Luna, Mabel, Isla and Ella, who sadly died in 2024, but who left a lasting impression on James, who credits his late pup with saving his life amid his battle with depression.
The Middleton family’s love of dogs
James and his family all have a deep affinity for dogs, with the Prince and Princess of Wales being the owners of three dogs, two of whom came from James.
© GettyThey have had Orla since 2020, after their first dog together, cocker spaniel Lupo, which they were given as a wedding present from Kate’s brother James Middleton, died unexpectedly.
The family has now introduced Otto – a brown spaniel from a litter of Orla’s puppies. Their two dogs now have matching names, and are likely very popular at home with Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, ten, and Prince Louis, eight.
