Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi take swigs from a bottle of wine on Hawaii trip

Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi’s quiet beach vacation in Hawaii has turned into a media storm. Photos have since gone viral, including an incredible one of them on the beach with the model seemingly about to take a chug from the bottle. 

Last weekend, the two were spotted spending what looked like a very romantic date by the ocean, far away from the chaos of Hollywood.

Kendall lounged on the sand in a bikini while holding what appeared to be a bottle of rosé, sitting beside Elordi as the pair kept close.

Elordi kept things casual in blue shorts and a green baseball cap, while a surfboard-style table sat nearby as they relaxed together by the water.

While they’ve been fueling rumors for weeks, the trip may have made them stronger. “Kendall really didn’t expect to be this into him this fast, but Hawaii kind of changed everything,” a source told Page Six. 

“They got super close on that trip, and it definitely made their connection stronger. It’s becoming a lot more serious than she expected,” the insider continued.

Another source previously told PEOPLE that the pair have been “hanging out and getting to know each other the last couple months,” though both stars have continued keeping things extremely private.

According to insiders, Kendall was initially hesitant to blur the lines because the two have known each other for years and have always run in similar Hollywood circles.

“Kendall’s really private, so she’s taking it slow,” the source explained. “She’s not the type to jump into something, especially with someone she’s been friends with.”

Still, things seem to be moving naturally. The source added that Kendall is “really happy right now and loves how easy things feel” with the Frankenstein actor, while friends and family have apparently noticed how much she likes him.

Part of that ease may also come from how seamlessly the pair fit into each other’s lives already. “It’s been really fun for her and Kylie being able to hang out with guys who genuinely get along and fit naturally into their lives,” the insider told Page Six. “Jacob’s just a really good guy. He’s super respectful and easy to be around.”

After the Hawaii trip, Kendall and her sister, Kylie Jenner, were recently spotted on a double date in Los Angeles with Elordi and Kylie’s boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, with the group and their friend, photographer Renell Medrano.

Jacob was behind the wheel as they drove around Los Angeles after a Fanatics party. They did their best to hide from the paparazzi, but Kylie’s smile was front and center.

Dating rumors surrounding Kendall and Jacob first picked up after Coachella earlier this year, when reports claimed the two were “making out” and “all over each other” at one of Justin Bieber’s after-parties. 

The Daily Mail later reported that Kylie may have actually helped set them up after spending time around Elordi during award season alongside Chalamet. She reportedly liked him, thought he would be good for Kendall, and encouraged her to go on a date with him. 

And while neither Kendall nor Jacob has confirmed anything publicly yet, Hawaii may have said enough on its own.
