Knox Jolie-Pitt has plenty of things to celebrate. The son of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie graduated this past Friday, taking the stage on his graduation regalia and giving a short speech. What he talked about? That night’s Muay Thai bout, of course.
Knox is a known athlete, spending the past couple of years training hard, photographed on outdoor runs and on his Muay Thai training sessions. It’s clearly a topic that matters to him, and that he wishes to pursue in his life.
On photos captured and shared online, Knox celebrated his high school graduation with his friends, wearing a blue graduation toga and showcasing his bright orange hairstyle, which he’s been sporting over the past couple of weeks.
He was cheered on by his mom as he took the stage, with her taking photos and videos of the special moment. Knox spoke briefly and happily on the microphone. “Tonight, I’m gonna be fighting at Total Sonic Knockout 5 at 12:45 a.m., so catch me,” he said to the audience on a clip captured online. “I’m gonna knock ‘em the f— out!” he added with a smile, prompting laughs from the audience.
Total Sonic Knockout appears to be a hybrid combat and rave experience, having an official YouTube channel.
Knox’s fight that night
That same night, Knox didn’t disappoint, being featured in his Muay Thai fight. In photos and videos, Knox is seen throwing jabs and kicks at his opponent. The fight appears to be hosted at a Los Angeles club, with Knox wearing black tight shorts and fighting gloves.
The outing drew inevitable comparisons to his dad, Brad Pitt, who’s a fighting icon primarily due to his work in “Fight Club.”
Knox and his twin sister, Vivienne, are Pitt and Jolie’s youngest children and will be celebrating their 18th birthdays in July. The two are also parents of Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, and Shiloh, 20.
While most of Jolie and Pitt’s children are interested in the arts, with Pax and Maddox working on some of Angelina Jolie’s films, and Vivienne in the theater, some of her kids have interests in athletics. Shiloh has invested in developing a career in dance and choreography, while also appearing in online videos and in her first music video.
