The 38-year-old’s flawless figure is largely down to her dedicated workout routine. “I try to work out every day,” she previously told ELLE. “I go to a gym that’s only for women. Twice a week, I do FitJam classes, which are super fun, with a Brazilian teacher. It is a way for my mind to be in another place. It makes me forget everything, and starts my day in a good way.”
Antonela prioritizes weight training while also maintaining a balanced diet and ensuring she makes time for her wellness practices. “I started to be interested in [it] a few years ago. I used to be scared to do weights because I thought that I would become big, but that never happened. Everybody should do weights at least one hour a day, because it’s very important for the future. I always say to my mom and dad, ‘Please do a little bit of weight, even just twice a week,” she added.
“For me, it’s like my therapy. I feel strong. It’s very important to do it as my meditation. I leave my phone in my bag. I put my Apple Watch on Do Not Disturb, and this is my one hour. I go there, come back home, and then have the rest of the day with the kids and everything,” she explained of her wellness practices.
© GC ImagesAntonela revealed that her healthy diet is largely impacted by her husband’s fitness schedule. “My husband has to always be on a diet because of what he does. We have to eat healthy. We don’t drink alcohol and we don’t smoke. We try to have everything organic. It all comes together, with the exercise, the nutrition, and the mental health – it’s a way of living,” she shared.
