Barron Trump noticeably absent from World Cup family moment with famous siblings as new photo surfaces

Donald Trump’s family attended the 2026 FIFA World Cup Finale, and shared plenty of photos from the event. 

The US president, first lady Melania Trump and their son Barron Trump were spotted at the intense game between Argentina and Spain on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. 

One group shot in particular stood out, as Eric Trump shared a family photo on Instagram Stories, featuring his siblings Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr., although younger brother Barron was missing. 

The family were all smiles as they enjoyed the finale from a box viewing section in the huge stadium.

In the picture, Ivanka donned a yellow halter dress with diagonal stripes, white wedge heels and a matching white clutch, as her brothers went more formal with suits, while skipping their ties.

The star shared a video of Trump looking through a private plane window as they flew over the stadium prior to their arrival.

During the match, Trump and Melania were seen waving at eventgoers behind a bulletproof glass.

Post-match

Spain won the finale 1-0 to Argentina and post-match, Trump got out on the pitch alongside FIFA president Gianni Infantino, to award the players with medals and of course, the gold trophy.

Trump didn’t leave the podium as Spain’s team lifted the trophy together, but he was later cropped out of FIFA’s and Spain’s men’s national team pictures on social media.

Lamine Yamal’s historical win

Spain’s top player Lamine Yamal made history during the global festivities. At just 19 years old, he is the youngest player ever to win not only the FIFA World Cup, but the UEFA European Championship, making him legend-status.

When it comes to whether or not the soccer star feels pressure from performing on the world’s stage, Lamine put the moment into perspective in a statement that’s wise beyond his years.

During a previous press conference, Lamine shared that he doesn’t feel any pressure and for unique reason, expressing: “I always play the way I know how; I can’t do otherwise. If you give everything and people recognize it, you don’t feel pressure. In life, I’ve been through very difficult moments, much harder than a football match, which is why I don’t feel pressure.” 

He previously shared with Cadena SER radio station: “Look, my mom had me when she was 16. My dad also had to go out and look for a life, sometimes picking up stuff in the streets to try to come back home with food for us. To me, this is real pressure, not what I have.”
