I am unofficially naming Alison Hammond as the queen of a co-ord, as the TV presenter has worn a high street two piece almost every day on This Morning this week.
Like my colleague Leanne, who actually is the queen of co-ords (you can read more about that here), Alison has realised the potential of just how chic a two matching separates can be. And Thursday’s look – a vibrant striped top and matching trousers – was one of her best yet.

Wearing the Printed Linen Elasticated Cuff Boxy Top, Alison showcased how to embrace a bold co-ord. Made with 20% linen, the top is cut to be worn loose and oversized – a la Alison – and has a boxy, flowy shape. The cuff sleeves help to anchor what could be a big, oversized top.
She wore it with the matching Printed Linen Mix Wide Leg Trousers. Also made from 20% linen, what I love most about these are not only the wide leg silhouette – so airy for the summer – but the elasticated waist. Tummy-friendly trousers are our absolute favourite!

Wear the trousers with a simple plain T-shirt or camisole, or the top with jeans, denim shorts or a summery skirt. Or make like Alison and pair them. In my opinion, it’s a striking outfit that is worth wearing together.
