North West‘s fearless fashion identity got an update. The 13-year-old stepped out in Los Angeles on Thursday sporting a striking turquoise-blue bob with blunt bangs that instantly evoked Lady Gaga’s most memorable avant-garde beauty eras. The vibrant hairstyle became the standout feature of a family shopping trip with her father, Kanye West, and his wife, Bianca Censori, as the trio visited luxury retailer H. Lorenzo. 

While all eyes were on North’s bold new look, Kanye appeared to unveil what looked like a new set of teeth, adding another talking point to the family’s latest public outing. 

North West’s Blue Bob Steals the Spotlight

North embraced an edgy, punk-inspired aesthetic from head to toe.

She paired her electric blue bob with oversized black sunglasses that concealed much of her face, adding to the futuristic vibe. Her outfit consisted of an oversized black graphic sweatshirt layered over extra-baggy cargo pants loaded with oversized pockets.

She completed the look with chunky black-and-white sneakers, fingerless gloves featuring spiked detailing, a statement shoulder bag decorated with charms and a large furry accessory, and what appeared to be a black mouthguard visible whenever she smiled.

The vivid hairstyle immediately recalled some of Lady Gaga’s bold beauty transformations from her early pop career, when brightly colored blunt bobs became part of her signature fashion experimentation.

North has been embracing blue hair in various styles ahead of her upcoming music activities, recently switching to the shorter bob after previously wearing much longer turquoise hair.

Kanye kept things simple in an all-black leather ensemble featuring a zip-front leather jacket, leather pants, and chunky black boots. Bianca complemented the dark color palette in a fitted long-sleeve black unitard paired with minimalist black mule heels.

Despite the matching aesthetic, North’s colorful hair ensured she remained the center of attention as the family browsed clothing racks inside the boutique.

Photographers also captured relaxed moments between Bianca and North, with the pair laughing together while looking at accessories before later walking alongside Kanye through the store.

Kanye Appears to Debut a New Smile

Fashion wasn’t the only thing generating conversation.

Kanye appeared to show off what looked like a fresh set of teeth during the shopping trip, although he has not publicly commented on whether he recently underwent additional cosmetic dental work. Photos from the outing captured his smile more prominently than in many recent appearances.

The rapper has previously discussed extensive dental work, making any noticeable changes to his smile an instant point of interest among fans.
