Patrick Mahomes has given fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse into his whirlwind trip to New York City after attending the wedding of close friends Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback took to Instagram to share a series of previously unseen snaps from the glamorous weekend, which saw he and wife Brittany Mahomes join around 1,000 guests at Madison Square Garden as the NFL star married the Grammy-winning singer on Friday.
While the couple kept a relatively low profile ahead of the ceremony and were not photographed arriving at Thursday night’s rehearsal dinner, Patrick’s latest post offered a look at the celebrations surrounding the wedding.
The first images showed Brittany looking effortlessly elegant in a pale blue gown teamed with a sparkling silver necklace, while Patrick cut a dapper figure in a classic black tuxedo and dark sunglasses. In one romantic photograph, the couple embraced as they prepared for their evening out, while another captured them sitting together in the back of a New York taxi, seemingly on their way to the iconic venue.
Patrick also shared candid moments from their night in the city, including photos of Brittany posing with friends as he played photographer, alongside another image of the group enjoying the evening together.

It remains unclear whether the images were taken before Travis and Taylor’s wedding day or during the couple’s more intimate rehearsal celebrations the night before.
The Mahomeses were among a large Kansas City Chiefs contingent invited to witness Travis and Taylor exchange vows, with team owner Clark Hunt and his family, head coach Andy Reid and many of Kelce’s teammates also in attendance.

Their New York getaway was short-lived, however, as the family quickly returned home to Kansas City in time for Independence Day celebrations.

The sweet family celebration rounded off a memorable few days for the Mahomes family, who traded the glamour of Madison Square Garden for a relaxed Fourth of July at home with their children.
